Boston Elements

Fine Art Print of digital scan of the original on Kappa-Fix 50 X 75 cm

Boston Elements is a queer artist hailing from the midwest currently creating in California. Working in photo, print, inks, paint, collage, and charcoal Boston hopes to create an alternate universe that celebrates and titillates “the other”, specifically the LGBTQ community. Dealing with themes of Masculinity (Toxic & Not), Violence, Sexuality, Pornography, and Religion, Boston hopes to bring to light the beauty of the male form and elevate male nudity to a higher plane. Boston wishes to take pornography and sensuality from the bedside drawer and into the living room for all to celebrate as they should.

This piece was created in collaboration with American Photographer Wadley Wadley and is part of Boston Element’s long running “The Modern Day Saints of Faggotry” series. This series delves deep into historical and personal relationships with gender, religion, masculinity, and body image. The Halos combine angelic imagery and beautiful golden hues with delightful blasphemy and reverence for the obscene. Boston hopes to engage with the larger gay community and begin creating our own myths and legends, ones that are truer to ourselves and the way we wish to be depicted.
